I recently had dinner with two of my besties and favorite writers, Lois Faye Dyer and Debbie Macomber. You should have seen the hoops we had to jump through just to set aside time for this. Were things always this busy? Suggestions, please! How do you go about getting together with your friends? I am all ears.

I’ve found I have to plan up to a month in advance, even for a play date for the kids. Seems weird, but that’s only way I can make it work.
You and Debbie are two of my favorite authors! I’ve never read Dyer, could you recommend a book to start with?
Kelley – Lois has written an amazing series called “Big Sky Brothers” about a verrry interesting family in Montana. http://loisfayedyer.com/ Careful – they are sort of addictive. 🙂
Oh thank you! I love an addictive series.

Hi from a Northern neighbour in BC!
I just read my first Susan Wigg’s novel yesterday (and in one day!) The Goodbye Quilt and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m so glad to find your blog today too Susan. I hope your trip goes well and I look forward to reading more of your work in the near future. In addition to many other pursuits, I am currently writing my first novel. You’ve inspired me to keep going!!
