hostage report: Day Two

My writers’ group held Michael Hauge hostage to brainstorm our upcoming books. Food and drink were consumed, ideas were bandied about, arrows were slung, and we are bloodied but unbowed.

  1. What an AMAZING brainstorming session. I’m so grateful for Michael’s insight. I’m excited about writing my book now. He’s brilliant and also kind and generous. Wonderful photos, too. Thank you so much for arranging this, Susan. We must do it again.

  3. Absolutely – it was terrific! I didn’t even know I was going to get much-needed career guidance, but I sure am grateful for it. Michael is a gem for doing this, as is Susan for putting it all together. (And Barkis sure was sweet about the whole thing.)

    1. Thank you both for your very kind words. All four of you were a joy to work with – open to ideas, courageous in your sharing, and wonderfully supportive of each other. I also truly believe you all have stories that are going to be terrific. To get to be a part of your group, and get a great guest house to boot, is fantastic – thanks Susan! And Elsa, even though your email was posted at 9:23 am, which is SUPPOSED to be right in the middle of your writing time, I’m going to let you off the hook because you said such nice things.
