Pepsi is giving away money to charities, and all it takes to win is people willing to vote online at the Pepsi Refresh website. If West Sound Wildlife’s project can rank in the top 10 in its category, we’ll win $50,000 for the Take Flight Campaign, a project that will build a waterfowl enclosure that will function as a state-certified oiled-bird treatment center.
At the moment, only one other such facility exists in the state of Washington. Aside from saving oiled birds, this enclosure will help save the lives of thousands of waterfowl (ducks, cormorants, herons, killdeer, etc.) over the coming decades. Voting begins June 1 – please help us win!
Become a Daily Voter
You can help West Sound Wildlife win by voting every day. If you like, we’ll send you a daily reminder that makes it simple. And best of all, each daily reminder will include a different photo of a Shelter patient, so you’ll be greeted by a furry or feathered face every day. To sign up for our daily reminder list, just email Elsa at elsa. Your first email will arrive on June 1.

Win a Free Visit from One of Our Educational Owls or Red-tailed Hawk
To make this even more exciting, we’ll be giving away two free visits from one of our educational ambassadors. If West Sound Wildlife wins $50,000, the individual and team that has voted the most times will win!
How does it work?
As June progresses, keep track of the number of times you vote. If you’re putting a team together, have each member of the team keep track of their votes. Also, please email Elsa at elsa or call 206.855.9057 x5 to let us know that you’re building a team (t
his is a perfect project for classrooms, clubs, and groups of friends). All reporting will be based on the honor system. At the end of the month, we’ll send out an email asking you to let us know what your grand total was (both for teams and individuals). If you win, the location of the education program will be subject to the handler’s approval and must be pre-arranged for a mutually agreeable date. Programs are available in Kitsap County only. Good luck!
