Library Destroyed by Fire Needs Donations
Friends–Since Lakeshore Christmas, a love story about saving the library, was published, I’ve been a magnet for stories like this. The problem is all too real. Please give what you can. –Susan
Burned books (2) by Huntsville Madison County Public Library.
On Sept. 20, 2009, the Triana Public Library (Triana, AL) was destroyed by a fire caused by an electrical problem. The entire collection was lost to either fire or water damage. As it is in every library system in America, funds are sadly limited. The library would very much appreciate book
donations to help rebuild their collection.
All genres of books are welcome – romance (and all its subgenres), YA, SFF, mystery. you name it. Books should be sent to the address below for processing into the library’s system.
