Bid farewell to yet another victim of the storm–a huge old fig tree in the front yard.
And here are some pics of a ferry in the storm. Drama!
While searching Yahoo for peacock blue fountain pen ink, I landed on your web page. How exciting to find another individual who appreciates the subtle characteristics of the greatest color ever invented for the fountain pen. I was also suprised to discover that you were published by Zebra in 1987. I was the creative director for Zebra (Kensington Publishing) during that period of time.
What a coincidence. Must continue my search. Glad I discovered your page.
And those ferry pics! YIKES! I like to stand on the end of the car bay, and I would have been swept overboard.
Well, I wouldn’t have been there, I suspect. But still.
Oh, how sad. The tree was beautiful.
Too bad about the tree. The storm ripped through here as well and left us without power for 2.5 days. I can’t believe that ferry was out on the water during those swells!
Poor tree. However, in its passing, it left you a lovely shot. Maybe its death wasn’t in total vain.
