Congrats Susan! Winter Lodge was definitely one of my favorites this year. It’s resting comfortably on my keeper shelf so I hope it wins 🙂
My book, Remains of the Dead, was also nominated under Mystery. What a great way to end the year.
Wishing you the greatest success and joy in 2008!
Happy New Year!
You go girl.
SO excited for you.
Congratulations!
I thought of you while I was reading the following passage in Creative Nonfiction by Philip Gerard.
“The ART of the craft of writing is to make it seem effortless, transparent as window glass, to make the difficult look easy. That is why a good writer labors over sentences, rewriting them again and again – to make the sentence read elegantly, easily, clearly and in a way that lends forward movement to the piece.
The writer labors so the reader wont have to.”
Oooh, I hope you win!
Congratulations, Susan.
Wow, nice company! I have read almost all of those books last year. Good stuff. Congratulations!
