She has kind of a big thing happen to her in LAKESHORE CHRISTMAS (coming this Oct.) but it's not her story. Hers will have to wait until 2011. Yikes, that sounds like forever but time flies when I'm on deadline. At least Daisy will be older then and more interesting. Thanks for asking! I look forward to the Christmas one to catch up until #6 comes out. I will just have to read others in the meantime. I love every Susan Wiggs book I have read so far, and I have read many other than the Lakeshore ones. You are fantastic. "RE: Lakeshore Chronicles Series - Characters" In response to message #3      Hi all, I've just finished the first book of "The Lakeside Chronicles" and am patiently waiting for "The Winter Lodge" to be available at the library. I love these characters so much and am really excited about getting the next one. I'm so in love with Susan's books, I've managed to get a friend from work hooked to. No pressure at all!! Daisy is such a beautiful character and although in the first book she is having a pretty difficult time it's really encouraging to see the strength young people can have. I'm a sole parent of a 17 & 21 yr old and although life can be challenging it's so rewarding to see them achieve some pretty amazing milestones. Thanks for such a rich and wonderful read.
