A gracious hello to booklovers one and all! Here's the place to post about pretty much anything that's on your mind. You can ask Susan anything-how old she is, how much money she makes, how much she weighs...but just remember, she's a fiction writer! But her mom's here to keep her honest...and tasteful. Susan and I will check in often to shoot the breeze with you. Jump on in! --ClaraLou

"Snowfall at Willow Lake & Lord of the Night"

I may have convinced a few people to read this book. They were intrigued. So, we'll see. I really don't think you have to read the previous books. I'm a stickler for reading in order, but they are less so.

I picked up an older book, Lord of the Night, at a UBS. I don't think I have this one so it was a nice score for me.

Oooh, huge contrast to SNOWFALL. And there are not many copies around! Thanks April.

I own Lord of the Night, loved it, and have re-read it a few times. Susan, you write great contempories and I am a fan of whatever you write, but I fell in love with your historical romances. I know why you say you write contempories now, but can't you write both? Let's imagine this schedule year after year, "a series release in the spring, hard cover in the summer and a historical romance in the fall!" That sounds like a lot of work. Well, I can dream.
