"Just Breathe"
 
   I finished "Just Breathe" last night. What a terrific book! Since I had already read the excerpt, I knew generally how the story began, but it was even better. I can already see Kate Hudson as Sarah. Thank you for your determination to get it published.

   Some of you must have gotten the book early! Susan, I saw you mentioned Luanne Rice as one of your favorites. Her books, as well as yours, are one of my favorites as well. I read Summer Light this month, which I could relate to living in an area where hockey is quite big. It was a beautiful story. I just finished James Patterson's Sundays at Tiffanys, which was wonderful as well. I've been waiting for Just Breathe to come out all month, have been in between novels now just waiting ( as well as just breathing, ha!)... I have many Susan Wiggs novels packed in a bag, I know I should donate them to the library so other people can enjoy them. I rarely go back and reread a novel, yet I'm having a hard time letting them go! Since some people seem to be already done with the book, I may just head over to Meijer and see if it's in yet.

Tomorrow is the "official" release day, although some stores put the books out early. I'm so glad it's finally here!

I just finished! I won a copy, lucky me, and it arrived on Friday. I started it on Sunday and because I wanted to savor each and every word, it took me longer than normal to finish. And I'm so glad!

The writing was wonderful, the characters were so well drawn and it was at turns poignant and funny. I really felt for Will, Sarah and Aurora. And at times I even understood Jack - though I never liked him. Poor guy. And I cannot believe his mother and her advice to Sarah! OMG! Of course, it goes to show how we are a product of our circumstances, environment, DNA and our choices.

Thank you so much for this story!

As I said, mine doesn't even say it shipped yet. I have plenty to tide me over in the meantime. I look forward to reading it though. It would have been nice to get it before the long weekend so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I know I have a UPS package with our front desk. I just keep forgetting the stupid slip (which I forgot again today).

I was mistaken. My copy shipped and delivered. I just have to go pick it up at our front desk. I'll try and get it tonight even though I don't have the UPS notification. If not, I'll definitely get it tomorrow.

Lucky you April...mine still has not shipped! I ordered an audio book for DH at the same time and I think that is holding up my SW book! Next time he can order his own stuff!

I do hope it is here by next Tues as we leave on Wed for a long drive and I would LOVE to have it to read along the way!

I hope you receive the book before your trip, as well. I finished it a couple of nights ago and I loved it! I think it's one of the top books I've read this year. And I've read a lot of books this year, lol!

I just finished it as well and really enjoyed it. There were parts where I laughed out loud. I sniffled a little at parts, but I never cried. I totally agreed with the name Sarah called Jack, too. Probably not very bulletin board friendly to type though.

I love how it seemed like EVERYONE could have been setting the fires, and I love how well the teenagers are always written in the books.

Oh, the only down part is that the next book has a lot of pressure to keep the good reading momentum going.

On of my Faves!! I relate to Sarah so much!! I have been through similar expirences. My Fiance was diagnosed with testicular cancer,and chances of us have children were slim. But 6 months later i bcames pregnant with twin boys!! This book has given me such hope on love and family!!

I just finished reading "Just Breathe". Was at the library the other night and one of the librarians brought it into the local history room where I was. (Had it on reserve) Anyway, it was one of those books, I couldn't put down, at least today. Went outside and read the rest of the book! I liked Will. Couldn't stand her ex. Aurora reminded me a little of my niece. She is going through that phase. I felt the book was very charmimg on the most part but realistic as well. Really enjoyed it!!!! I may end up buying a copy so i can read it again!!!!

Mine copy has just shipped! Darn DH wanted and audio book at the same time so I put them on the same order....not knowing that his was not being released till 9/2! I can't wait to start it.

I hate it when that happens, Lynda! I had some other books that I had to wait for because Just Breathe came out at the end of August. I read Just Breathe first though. I think you're really going to enjoy it.

I am still waiting for it to arrive in my mail box! I am so mad as it is sitting in Orlando and I could have driven in to get it since it arrived there on Friday! It is isn't in my box on Monday, I just may do that! I can't wait to read it.

   I have just finished Just Breathe. It was Susan crowning glory so far. Who could not fall in love with a guy like Will.

Some of the things in this book made me laugh and I thought Susan had looked into my life. My mother's name is June and her sister is May. Really, no joke. But they could never live together like these two sisters. My mom was born in June, but my aunt was born in Novemeber.

I sure can see Kate Hudson and maybe Josh Lucas as Will. Shirly McLean and Olympia Ducakas as the grandmother and Aunt. I would love to see this book made into a movie.

My 20something daughter tells me Kate Hudson is "so five minutes ago" and now the romantic actress du jour is Blake Lively (Gossip Girl).

I finished Just Breath and it was WONDERFUL! I just loved it Susan! We had to drive into Orlando this weekend (it was my hubby's birthday and I had gotten us tickets to Cirque du Soleil and hotel for the night) and I was upset that I had not finished the book the night before...so he had to drive while I finished it! Great job Susan.

I pulled one of your books that has been in my TBR pile just incase I had time to do some more reading this morning...Passing Through Paradise. I started it this morning and did a little more reading on the drive home...I don't know how this one got past me before, but I am enjoying it so far.

I really liked Passing Through Paradise. I'm sure you've finished it by now and would be interested in knowing how you liked it. I read on a message board or a review (sorry can't remember which)where the one who wrote didn't give it any good marks...Just goes to show:
1)Depends on the mood a reader or reviewer is in when reading the books
2) Wondered if the writer had read the same book I did.

I fiished it about 3 weeks ago. It is one I'll keep and will re-read. I just loved that book. As mentioned in earlier posts I'm going to try AGAIN to get "Just Breathe" ... the WBB has offered to order it in for me
