I ran into this very nice reader on the ferry. I never see people reading my books, so this was a treat! Thanks Cheryl, you made my day!
Neat to see this picture, and on the ferry no less!
Here’s a little story: A couple of years ago, as our daughter was starting her sophomore year in college, my husband and I were moving her into her very first apartment, university housing she would be sharing with three other young women. After we’d finished moving her in, we sat in the girls’ living room for cokes. There, on the coffee table, I spied one of your books! (Dang–I can’t remember which one, though.)
My daughter didn’t know who owned that particular book, and the other girls weren’t around, so I never found out, but it was fun to discover your book there. In a way, you were with us!
Susan you are just so cute. You should visit us in the summer in the BC Okanagan ie Penticton, Summerland, Peachland area and see all those Susan Wiggs’ fans on the sandy beaches – one eye on their book and one eye on the kids! I happily share your books with my mom, sisters and good friends. Confession, finding new or older Susan Wiggs’ books at the library or corner store is ike finding the best chocolate – what a delicious treat.
Have a great weekend.
