  • Go, Susan! I am absolutely thrilled for you — though in doubt about your mental health (forty-three degrees???!) Heck of a way to celebrate, but the day definitely called for something extraordinary.

I bet you’re still walking on air. Hugs and happy dances.

  • Congratulations Susan!

You have touched my heart with your warm and wonderful
stories for many years. (And, No I won’t say how many) 🙂

Yikes! That water must have been COLD!

I’m very happy for you as you deserve it! Way To go!

The hope, inspiration, love and laughter found in your books
is remarkable. It’s one of the many things that makes your
books so unique and special…at least to me. :-))

(p.s.) I hope that makes sense.

  • […] I can’t wait to hear what this one-star bomber thinks of the people of Avalon saving the public library in the next book! PS: She might be my good luck charm, bringing all this attention to my book. It’s currently #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. […]

  • Congratulations on #1! And on the Valentine’s day edition of the NYT no less. How perfect is that?
The Lakeshore Chronicles + the world you’ve created are a special place–but that is true for each of your stories. Guess that’s why you are where you are! Great news!

  • Congratulations Susan……Felicidades!!!……I would need a good jolt after hearing such great news too. You deserve all the success in the world!!! I agree with Jen on that your books are constant page turners!!! Keep up the great work!

  • You completely deserve to celebrate! Your books always keep me reading from page 1 to the end of the book – usually all in one night!
I always look forward to buying the next one and am bitterly dissapointed when there is nothing new from you on the shelf!
    Congratulations on #1!

  • April –

Maybe it is the word “silly.” The articles first few lines has the word -silly in it. Susan has “general silliness” in the category section at the top. Perhaps the computer picked up on that. I don’t see how it could be related at all. Anyone else?

Barkis looked a bit concerned. “What is she doing jumping in the pool in this weather?” Brrrrr just lookiing at the photos.

  • CONGRATULATIONS! That’s awesome! I’m already cold, but that makes me colder.

Now, someone just need to tell me how this connects to Muslim Anger Alert (the possibly-related generated links).

  • Fantastic, wonderful news Susan! Is this your first time hitting #1? If so, you need to celebrate in style. At the very least you need to pop open some champagne!

  • Oh THAT IS SOOOO WONDERFUL! OPEN UP THAT CHAMPAGNE!!!!!

Enjoy every second of this day. We are all SOOO Proud of YOU!!

All the phone lines must be burning up with congrats and love. How high are you flying!!! You deserve it. Lots of love and joy to you, Susan.

  • Congrats!! Great way to celebrate. (I’m a water rat). Now snuggle up in front of the fire. I love seeing pictures of your “paradise”.

  • WHOOOO HOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!

    Yeah Susan !!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG you did jump in !!!! Good for you girl !

Congratulations, enjoy it, it is so richly deserved !

    Pam
