  • i love your blog! there i said it. i first picked up your work at the gorcery store because i was attracted to the cover art. beach chairs, beach grass, a dock, get me everytime. i’m thinking an author would like to know these things. keep writing, keep appreciating your world, and keep the beach settings coming! happy new year!

  • Wow, I have a lot of reading to do! I have read Hummingbird (as well as almost all – if not all – of LaVyrle Spencer’s books). I also have the Sheila Roberts book on my shelf, but I haven’t gotten there yet. The summer flew too quickly!

Right now, I’m reading The Yiddish Policeman’s Union by Michael Chabon for my book club. So far, I like it, but I’m always a little distracted with present tense in books. I’ll have to check out some on your best of list.
